    Mardi Gras may be over now, but the beads and boobs thing carries on through the rest of the year. It's not uncommon to come home with a solid collection of bead necklaces - for both girls and guys.

    Students may feel like they're not in America anymore, but the beauty of this city is you don't need your passport to get there. San Juan is the capital of Puerto Rico, where gambling is legal, and rum is easily accessible. Caution: Those two added together may equal some really bad decisions.

    Panama City Beach is full of wild parties. Twerk contests, world-renowned DJs to lead the massive crowds - add booze to the mix and you're ready for the Spring Break of a lifetime!

    You may be thinking, L.A., really? Spring Break? You may not be in Cancun, but L.A. is full of fun spring break opportunities. Between all of the celebs who live there, the incredible beaches, and the high-profile clubs, you can have an excellent spring break in the City of Angels.

    Myrtle Beach is the site of many spring break activities, including throwing back fish bowls at popular watering holes like Fat Tuesdays and Froggy Bottomz - right next to the beach. Exotic drinks and getting a tan at the same time? Now that's multi-tasking!

    Destin, FL

    Destin has become a popular spring break location over the years. The city was originally a fishing town, but its beautiful beaches have turned it into a great vacation spot - and many students make their way down for spring break. Apparently, it's a wild time! Just last year, Destin got so wild, there were apparently 800 arrests and 1100 tickets issued!

    San Diego, CA

    Aside from its beautiful beaches, San Diego has become more than just a city featured on "The Real World." The city is one of the most popular spring break destinations and although you can't drink on the beach anymore, you can take your party right into the ocean! After the beach, there is plenty of nightlife to partake in.

    Scottsdale, AZ

    Socttsdale is actually a pretty wild city - but the place really comes alive at night. There are tons of nightclubs for partiers to drop obscene amounts of money and dance until they drop.

    People of all ages choose Key West as their destination to let loose in. During spring break season open container laws are apparently not enforced. There is even a "clothing optional" bar to get your party on!

    Spring break isn't only for the exotic and tropical cities - in fact, many students head north for their vacation. If you're into skiing, you can hit the slopes all day, and then party all night long.

    Virginia Beach, VA

    The beach, a boardwalk, carnival rides, bars - Virginia Beach is frequented by a number of spring breakers every year. Although recently, the city has been considered one of the most dangerous spring break cities to go to.

    Daytona Beach has been continuously one of the most popular spring break destinations over the years. In fact, in 2010, Daytona was considered the 'undisputed underage drinking capital of the world.' You can party all you want on the beach during the day, but at night you can hop on a double-decker bus to take you from one hot spot to the next!

    Miami Beach, FL

    Never mind the fact that if your spring break falls on Ultra Music Festival/Miami Music Week, you're bound to have fun - Miami is just a good time in general. The city has tons of nightlife, as does close-by counterpart South Beach. You can grab a drink at places like Wet Willies or head a one of the town's famous clubs including Mansion, LIV, Story, and more.

    Las Vegas, NV

    Going to Vegas for anything is always a wild time, but especially for spring break. Vegas is a playground for young adults (and adults too). There is day-drinking at the pool parties, and at night the city offers its famous nightclubs - not to mention all those casinos!

    South Padre Island, TX

    There are many people in the U.S. who don't even realize Texas has an island to party on. Probably because this is the city's only purpose. It is completely legal to drink on the beach on South Padre Island, and is the home of a 3-day dance music festival for spring breakers to rage to. Spring Break paradise!

    Orlando, FL

    Two worlds: Disney World. You might not think of the childhood wonderland as a great spring break, but that's because you may not know that there is actually a lot to there besides get sick on the teacups ride. Epcot features it's "Drinking Around the World" showcase (self explanatory), and Downtown Disney is full of places to wet your whistle. If that doesn't make you happy there is always Pleasure Island, aka a strip of Irish-style pubs.
